Can the far right break up the crumbling German traffic light coalition?
They are frightened on the German liberal Bolshevik side. The parties in power cannot rule the people as they wish because the people have made their voices heard. And that is unacceptable for a leadership that pretends to be democratic but is essentially highly dictatorial. Now that the regional elections have dealt a heavy blow to the parties in Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s government, and the historic victory of the AfD, which claimed to be anti-establishment and far-right, has caused real alarm in the liberal Bolshevik forces that thought themselves irredeemable.
Rightly so! The liar is caught before the lame dog, so the saying goes. So it is with the German coalition, which lies about democracy, but when the people vote, they refuse to accept it. They want to put up a barrier against it on any pretext, in a true liberal Bolshevik fashion.
With only a year to go until national elections in what was once Europe’s largest economy, Sunday’s results are expected to increase the pressure on Scholz to crack down on immigration and to stop mindless aid to Ukraine. The question is whether the German economy, committed to the US to the hilt , economically menaced and cut off from cheap Russian gas, can be further burdened. And if Scholz abandons his current policy, he will lose his American supporters; if he does not, the German electorate will overthrow him.
Scholz is not to be pitied, he has allowed himself to be caught in this trap because he did not dare to say no to the American imperialist, colonialist, liberal fascist demand. Now he can look at himself!
